While the average age of Fellows is 57, Paul is just 31, showing how much he has achieved in his diverse career - spanning airport master-planning to private houses, and redesigning service experiences to branding.

The invitation by RSA researchers comes in recognition of his unique multi-disciplinary expertise, which brings project branding, interior design and architecture together.

West joined Imagination in 2008 and has worked on clients including brand concept work for British Airways, Land Rover, St Giles Circus and Manchester City.

The RSA was founded in 1754 and unites the world’s leading thinkers and doers to address society’s problems.

West joins a 27,000-strong international network, with Fellows like Dame Judi Dench, Stephen Hawking and Charles Dickens among its ranks.
