Imagination’s London-based Digital team scored two awards at the 2010 Marketing Design Awards for the Lincoln Touch Table project, winning the Digital and Automotive, Marine, Aerospace categories.
Judges applauded Imagination’s work, saying the design was “engaging and potentially opinion changing” and deserving of both awards.
Luxury US car brand Lincoln wanted a jaw-dropping experience to boost their autoshow presence, communicating Lincoln’s luxury and technology focus, being impressive while approachable.
Inspired by digital experiences reminiscent of Minority Report, CSI and James Bond films, Imagination designed a four-metre long multi-touch surface allowing up to eight users access content, including interactive animations, digital product demos, videos, slideshows and galleries.
Launched at the Detroit Motor Show in January 2010, the table consoles have been used for more than 35 shows days at over five motor shows across the US.
