We provided a captivating Samsung centrepiece at the 2010 Vancouver Games

 

Challenge

To create a branded home-from-home for athletes and fans that brought to life Samsung’s Olympic commitment.

 

Insight

Effective brand experiences require a dynamic, inviting design, and relevant, engaging experiences.

 

Solution

We designed, constructed and managed the Samsung OR@S WOW Pavilion. This impressive structure, located in the heart of Vancouver, was a place where visitors and athletes could interact freely with the Games and each other.

 

Live stage activities, interactive displays, games, and athletic and design competitions were developed to entice people in. The destination also provided a private space for athletes to view acts performing on the LiveCity stage.

 

The WOW Pavilion was an integrated and engaging experience that engaged visitors on many levels:

  • It entertained and connected with them, in new and innovative ways
  • It reflected the Samsung brand, and brought to life the Olympic spirit
  • It combined exciting, original digital content with a welcoming, feel-good atmosphere

     

Results

  • Over 8,000 visitors a day were welcomed at the OR@S WOW pavilion during the Games.
  • Over 18,000 shared experiences amplified through social media
